Landon Collins is entering free agency this offseason, and here are the five best fits for him in his NFL career moving forward.

After playing his first four NFL seasons with the New York Giants, star safety Landon Collins is scheduled to hit free agency this offseason. There are plenty of NFL teams who could use a player of his caliber, and we take a look at those who should be in the bidding war for his services over the next couple of months.

Here are the five best fits for him entering the 2019 offseason.

5. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans played their way to the AFC South title in 2018, as they reeled off nine straight victories during a very impressive regular season. Unfortunately, the Texans were unable to get the job done in the playoffs, as they were picked apart by Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round.

Heading into next season, Houston is going to need help in the secondary, especially if Tyrann Mathieu decides that he will test the free agent market. Mathieu was a solid addition to the Texans defense during the 2018 season, and if he does go, the team is going to need to bring in someone to replace him.

Enter Landon Collins, who would be a nice addition to this Texans secondary. At only 25-years old, Collins’ best years are in front of him, and this Texans team is built to win now. Houston has the talent on both sides of the ball to win the division once again in 2018, and Collins could be one of the final pieces of the puzzle on defense.
