Manchester City face West Ham at the Etihad on Wednesday, Feb. 27. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Fresh off lifting the Carabao Cup after defeating Chelsea on penalties, Pep Guardiola’s men will focus on the league. They’ve been in tremendous form, winning their last three league games making it six in all competitions. Their spirits will only be boosted seeing Liverpool settle for a scoreless draw against Manchester United on Sunday. Only a point separates the two, leaving little margin for error the rest of the way.

City face a West Ham side clinging onto top-half status in the table, sitting in ninth. Winners of their last contest, a 3-1 success over relegation side Fulham, will give them some confidence. Declan Rice has had a wonderful season at the base of their midfield racking up tackles and breaking up opposition passing. However, despite scoring three in their last game, scoring for the Hammers has been a problem all season. Of the top 10 in the league, they’re tied with Wolverhampton on 35 goals scored apiece, the lowest in the top half.

This game will also bring emotion with it. West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini returns having delivered a Premier League trophy and two League Cups during his three seasons as City manager. He joins Pablo Zabaleta and Samir Nasri as others to return to their former club after much success, they’ll be crucial in getting a result when the clubs face off. The reverse fixture saw City dominate the Hammers 4-0 at the London Stadium in November.

City will be huge favorites given the overflowing quality in the squad. Riyad Mahrez and Gabriel Jesus didn’t feature in the Cup final, so they’ll likely start. Youngster Phil Foden could also be given valuable minutes. Pellegrini and his players will want to throw a wrench into City’s title chase, but expect City to pull away and keep the pressure on Liverpool.
