The Reds will need to be better against Watford on Wednesday, or else they could find themselves out of the top spot in the league.
Watford come into Wednesday’s game in great form, winning their last two games. They had something of an offensive explosion in their last game, defeating the lowly Cardiff by a score of 5-1 in one of the most lopsided games of the season. They probably won’t be able to replicate that scoreline against Liverpool, but a win doesn’t seem too far out of the question given their recent form. Watford could give themselves a bit of separation from Wolves, who they’re currently tied with on points, with a win or draw against Liverpool.
