Antonio Brown doubles down on criticism of Ben Roethlisberger

Antonio Brown hasn’t let up on his criticism of Ben Roethlisberger, now saying that Big Ben “feels like he’s the owner.”
The upcoming divorce between Antonio Brown and the Pittsburgh Steelers has certainly been brewing for quite some time. At this point, it’s only a matter of time before the seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver is dealt to another team, finally putting an end to a long and exhausting saga between the two parties.
Now that the 30-year-old Brown can finally see the end getting closer, he’s not holding back his feelings regarding his blatant disgust for the Steelers — and in particular longtime quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
In an interview on HBO’s “The Shop” hosted by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, Brown once again let loose on his criticism of Roethlisberger, and it’s very obvious that he still is not a member of the Big Ben fan club.
“All year, the dude called me out,” Brown said about Roethlisberger, via USA Today. “We lose a game, he’s like, ‘Damn, AB should have run a better route.’”
When asked why Roethlisberger would say that, Brown explained, “That’s the type of guys he is. He feels like he’s the owner. Bro, you threw this (expletive) to the D-line. How the (expletive) am I going to run a better route? You need to give me a better ball.”
At this point, it’s no surprise that Brown is continuing to say these things. He’s about as fed up with the Steelers organization as the rest of us are with hearing about the drama.
Life will be prettier for Pittsburgh fans once the Steelers finally rid themselves of Brown and running back Le’Veon Bell, who sat out the entire 2018 season for contract reasons. For the diehard fans who are sick and tired of hearing about it, that day can’t come soon enough.
Luckily for the Steelers, they have the young James Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster to take over in those primary running back and receiver roles, and in 2019 they’ll hope to bounce back from a catastrophic collapse that kept them out of this year’s playoffs.
