Sergio Aguero can’t stop scoring, making it 18 goals for the league, leading the Golden Boot race. Pep Guardiola’s men are in the running for the quadruple having already secured the Carabao Cup.
City have the fourth best record away from home, collecting 26 points on the road. Here’s a stat for you: Bournemouth have the best home record of any non-top-6 team, grabbing 25 points at home. Eddie Howe will need that home cooking to produce an upset after losing 5-1 to Arsenal in their last league game. While they do sit in 12th, Bournemouth won’t be feeling too comfortable with their league position as other teams battle to overtake them.
This game is very intriguing as it pits two managers who like to play attacking football. City won the last meeting 3-1 at the Etihad, they look to do the double over the Cherries once more. However, the last time they met at Vitality, City needed a 97th minute winner from Raheem Sterling. So drama should be expected, in a big game in the title race. City will be huge favorites, but Bournemouth desperately need a victory. Expect this game to play at 100 miles per hour.
