Players costing $6,250 or under

Dwight Powell (vs MEM – $5,200): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.25 fantasy points against Indiana. Someone has to get numbers in the Mavericks frontcourt and Powell has been that guy in recent games. The minutes are there for him in a big way and he remains at a good enough salary. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup and can grind things more than people still give them credit for. But Powell is at a good spot. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bam Adebayo (vs BKN – $5,200): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.75 fantasy points against Houston. With Kelly Olynyk potentially out for this game, expect Adebayo to continue to see big minutes and opportunities. The matchup is a good one with the Nets on a back-to-back. The points will be there and he’ll chip in with rebounds and assists. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Joakim Noah (at DAL – $5,000): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.75 fantasy points against Chicago. Noah isn’t playing a ton of minutes but he’s playing enough minutes and he’s posting big outings in those minutes. The matchup is a good one as the Mavericks don’t have much to offer in their frontcourt. Noah puts up points and rebounds in a hurry and remains at a good salary based on the production he’s been putting together. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
