All eyes will be on the Duke Blue Devils on Tuesday as Zion Williamson’s injury remains in focus in their home finale against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
The Duke Blue Devils bounced back from an upset loss last week against Virginia Tech and dismantled Miami over the weekend. However, Zion Williamson was not on the floor for any of that as he continues to rehab from a knee injury. Having said that, it’s in the cards that the star freshman could be back on the floor on Tuesday night against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Williamson’s recovery is coming along and it would make sense for Duke to run him out on Tuesday to get him back in shape a bit. This is the Blue Devils’ home finale for 2018-19 and the tune-up game for facing rival North Carolina. Even still, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish have been carrying the load with Williamson out, and will likely do the same on Tuesday regardless of the other freshman’s status.
As for Wake Forest, this has ultimately been a season to forget. With just four wins in ACC play this season, they are in the bottom part of the conference standing. Having said that, the 11-17 Demon Deacons will be looking for a big upset to cap off their season, and Brad Childress and Jaylen Hoard will have to lead the way.

Duke may or may not have Williamson back for Tuesday’s game. In truth, though, it doesn’t matter all that much. Even a Blue Devils team without their best player is too much for this lowly Wake Forest team to handle, especially in Cameron. Ultimately, this is a tune-up game for Coach K’s team as they look ahead to North Carolina.
