NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight’s top goalie is Robin Lehner ($8,400) at home against the AHL…I mean NHL’s Ottawa Senators. Ottawa is bad, and ever since they dismantled the Leafs on “Boo John Tavares” night the Islanders have been to. They blew a one goal lead to the Caps and then got beaten down by the Flyers on Sunday, but if you are going to get right, Ottawa is the best team to do it against.

I am also a fan of Matt Murray ($8,200) for tonight at home against the Panthers. Murray has been hot and cold of late, but does have a win over Florida this season in which Murray stopped 36 of 37 shots and earned 9.2 DKFP.

Another play I am interested in is the suddenly scorching hot Darcy Kuemper ($7,900). Kuemper has won  9 of his last 10 starts with a 1.86 GAA and a .940 SV%. Anaheim has John Gibson back so they will be tougher to score on, but their offense is still anemic and Kuemper should have a good game tonight.

Lastly, Devan Dubnyk ($7,300) is a great start tonight in my opinion. He is severely underpriced against a Nashville with only 9 goals scored in their last 5, including being shutout twice. Dubnyk has only allowed 8 goals in his last 5 starts and hasn’t allowed more than 2 goals in any of those games.

NHL DFS Top Forwards:

Top Tier:

Sidney Crosby ($7,800) – Crosby is still really good at hockey, in case you forgot. In his last 10 games Crosby has points in 9, and he also 7 multi point games during that span, as well as 4 straight multi point games (See I told you he was still good at hockey). It looks like Crosby has a new wing in Jared McCann ($4,000) for tonight’s game, making him an amazing value play against his former team.

Dylan Larkin ($7,000) – We know that Colorado is starting Grubauer tonight against Detroit, and he has been bad of late with a 2-5 record in his last 10 games. Larkin has 3 goals and 4 assists in his last 5 games.

Artemi Panarin ($6,700) – In 3 games against New Jersey this season Bread Man has 2 goals and 2 assists as well as averaging 5.3 DKFP per game. In his last 5 games Panarin has 1 goal and 5 assists and is back playing with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Atkinson.

Mid Tier:

Matthew Barzal ($5,900) – Barzal hasn’t been playing well of late, but the Islanders are playing Ottawa tonight, and it’s highly unlikely Ottawa keeps them off the board. If Barzal plans on getting going again, tonight should be the night.

Eric Staal ($4,900) Eric Staal is getting hot again with 2 goals and 6 assists during his current 6 game point streak. Staal is a good one-off play, but I prefer to play him with the rest of Minnesota 1, Jason Zucker and Ryan DonatoBoth Zucker and Donato have been just as hot as Staal. This is actually one of, if not, my favorite line stack tonight.

Dustin Brown ($4,600) – Brown is coming off a 2 goal game against the Blackhawks on Saturday. Besides last season, Brown is having the best year of his career since the 2011-12 season with 37 points through 55 games.

Value Tier:

Richard Panik ($4,200) – Panik has 5 assists in the Coyotes last 2 games and picked 12 DKFP combined in those two games. Panik is playing on the Yotes second line with another hot player, Vinnie Hinostroza ($4,000)

Jordan Staal ($3,500) – Eric isn’t the only Staal playing well of late, younger brother Jordan is as well. In his last 4 games Jordan has 1 goal and 5 assists and is averaging 3.9 DKFP per game.

Kevin Rooney ($2,600) – Rooney has 2 goals and an assist in his last games and is averaging 3.25 DKFP per game for the Devils. Even though Rooney centers the teams 4th line, he is seeing minutes in the mid teens.

NHL DFS Top Defensemen:

Dougie Hamilton ($5,500) -The Hurricanes best offensive defenseman tops my list tonight for high-priced dmen. In his last 3 games Hamilton has 2 goals and 2 assists and is averaging over 6 DKFP per game.

Justin Schultz ($4,600) – In 8 games since returning from a broken leg Schultz has 1 goal and 5 assists. With both Kris Letang and Brian Dumoulin out Schultz is now playing on the Pens top PP unit.

Dan Girardi ($3,100) – My top value defenseman is Dan Girardi in a home game against Winnipeg. Girardi has points in back to back games and is playing over 19 minutes a game in those game, up from his usual 15 minutes per game.

TAMPA, FLORIDA – FEBRUARY 25: Steven Stamkos #91 of the Tampa Bay Lightning celebrates a shootout goal during a game against the Los Angeles Kings at Amalie Arena on February 25, 2019 in Tampa, Florida. (Photo by Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Line Stacks:

My top stack for the night is Winnipegs top unit of Blake Wheeler ($6,700), Mark Scheifele ($6,500) and Patrik Laine ($6,100). This game is projected to be the highest scoring game on the slate, so I am definitely going to get some exposure.

More from FanSided

And speaking of the projected highest total, my top PP unit is the Lightning’s top PP unit.

J.T. MILLER
STEVEN STAMKOS
BRAYDEN POINT
VICTOR HEDMAN
NIKITA KUCHEROV

I will try to fit as many of the top guys from both these teams in, and one I think that is a lock will be J.T. Miller because of his low price.

Other Stacks:

Colorado 1

Boston 1 & 2

Montreal 2

NY Rangers 2

Pittsburgh 2

Florida PP 1

NHL DFS Core Plays:

Core plays is tough tonight for me because I have a few ways I want to go. I think I will have to go with Devna Dubnyk in net to save the cash to fit some of the top guys from Winnipeg and Tampa. If you go with Steven StamkosJ.T. Miller, Blake Wheeler, and Patrik Laine and then add Jordan Staal for salary relief it’ll leave you with $5,000 left for your defense and your utility position
