Here’s all the information you need for the February 18, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown Live.

The final stop before Sunday’s WWE Fastlane pay per view brings us to this week’s SmackDown Live. Let’s take a look at what we can expect, after a bombshell was dropped a week ago.

The entire WWE Universe has been behind Kofi Kingston after he earned a shot at Daniel Bryan and his WWE Championship. Solid showings at the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber events, plus an hour’s survival in a gauntlet match gave the New Day member all he needed to finally get a shot at the gold. Everybody agreed he was the right man. Everybody, except Vince McMahon.

After wrecking the WWE Raw Women’s Championship picture and suspending Becky Lynch, the Chairman of WWE showed up last week and promptly took Kingston out of the main event at Fastlane. Instead, he shocked the world when he announced the replacement to be none other than Kevin Owens. We haven’t seen Owens in several months, but suddenly now our main event on Sunday will be Bryan defending against Owens. So where does that leave Kingston?

What we do know is Bryan will be in attendance this week on SmackDown and will break his silence over what has transpired over the last couple of weeks. Does he agree with McMahon’s ruling, or does he also feel Kingston has a rightful shot at the title?

Also, United States Champion R-Truth will be in the house as he continues the rebirth of John Cena’s United States Championship Open Challenge. The concept was started by Cena, and he basically would open the door to any WWE superstar that wanted a shot at the title. Last week, Truth survived a triple threat match against Rey Mysterio and Andrade to retain the title. Who will step up and challenge the champion this week?

Five nights before their WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship rematch, The Miz and Jey Uso will square off in singles action. The winner will have a lot of momentum heading into Sunday’s rematch, which either team could use right now.

Speaking of tag teams, the  division was shaken up last week by the re-emergence of the Hardy Boyz. Matt and Jeff showed up unexpectedly and defeated The Bar. Could their reunion lead to another set of tag titles being added to their resume?

Next. Torrie Wilson to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame. dark

This Sunday’s WWE Fastlane is the final stop before the annual extravaganza known as WrestleMania. We’ve already seen a metric ton of changes and surprises over the last month. Keep your eyes glued to the USA Network over coming weeks. Who knows what will happen?
