The Pittsburgh Steelers have been in the news for all the wrong reasons over the past 12 months, as the offensive side of the ball has taken a big hit. First, star running back Le’Veon Bell decided to sit out the entire 2018 season, and star wide receiver followed suit by being benched in Week 17, and requesting a trade since.

As they head towards an offseason of uncertainty, they have a No. 20 overall selection to worry about as well, and they may decide to focus on the other side of the ball. Pittsburgh needs help  in their secondary, and bringing in a guy like Byron Murphy from Washington to compliment Joe Haden makes a lot of sense this late in round one.

Murphy was a standout player for the Huskies, capping off his solid college career with a game-winning pick-six in the Pac-12 title game. He also showed great athleticism during the NFL combine, locking in his spot as a potential first round pick  this April.

Pittsburgh has talent on both sides of the ball to win games, but they can no longer be considered the class of the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens came all the way back to take that mantle during the 2018 NFL season, and with all the turmoil going around in the Steel City, they may be the  third-best team in the division heading into 2019.
