The Pittsburgh Steelers have been in the news for all the wrong reasons since the start of the 2018 NFL season, as they had their star running back, Le’Veon Bell sit out the entire season. At the end of the year, star wide receiver Antonio Brown was benched for the season finale, ending his run as the elite wideout in the NFL while playing for the franchise.

As they look to figure out what kind of compensation they can get for Brown, who is requesting a trade, they also must figure out what they want to do with their defense. They have some good young players on that side of the ball, but need a middle linebacker, as Ryan Shazier is far from ever returning to the football field.

In C.J. Mosley, the Steelers would be picking off a player from a division rival, as the star linebacker helped the Baltimore Ravens to a first place finish in the AFC North last season. Mosley and his Ravens teammates had to erase a big deficit in the division, looking up at the Steelers, but were eventually able to come away with the title.

Mosley would slide in as the captain of this Steelers defense, and give them that star middle linebacker that this franchise has become synonymous with having. Mosley knows the division well, and the only real hurdle is whether or not he would actually spurn his Ravens teammates, and join the enemy.
