Paris Saint-Germain face Manchester United at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, March 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
In the first leg of their Champions League clash, Paris Saint-Germain went into Old Trafford and beat Manchester United 2-0. The road victory will be a huge advantage for PSG as they look to reach the quarterfinal for the first time since 2016. United will need to score at least two goals if they are going to advance to the quarterfinal for the first time since 2014 when David Moyes was the United manager.
PSG are running away with the Ligue 1 title again, holding a 20 point lead over Lille. However, the success of Thomas Tuchel’s first season in charge will be determined by how far PSG go in the Champions League. Neymar and possibly Edison Cavani will both miss the second leg with injuries. Despite being without two of their top goal scorers, PSG still have plenty of attacking options. Kylian Mbappe has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season and will lead the attack with Julian Draxler and Angel Di Maria.
United’s loss to PSG was the only loss that the club has suffered under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils were outplayed in the first leg and will need to be significantly better if they are going to advance. However, United will be without their best player Paul Pogba, after the French midfielder picked a second yellow card in the first leg. Pogba leads all United players with 14 goals in all competition. Without Pogba, the Red Devils will have to rely on Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial, and Marcus Rashford to overcome the two-goal deficit.
