WWE NXT: The 5 count for March 6th, 2019

1. It’s all about the Dusty Classic

If you’re a fan of tag team wrestling, this episode of NXT was a love letter to your wrestling fandom. All four first-round matches of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic took place this week and all four matches delivered big-time, kicking off this yearly tournament the right way.

Let’s run down some quick results from the evening:

– Ricochet and Aleister Black defeated Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel
– The Forgotten Sons picked up the win against Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch
– Moustache Mountain won a hard-fought match against the Street Profits
– #DIY had an incredible win against Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of the Undisputed Era in the main event of the evening

It really was a fantastic first round and featured great tag team wrestling from top to bottom. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you really should check out all four matches.
