High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Trae Young (vs BKN – $8,300): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.2 fantasy points against San Antonio. Young looked more like himself against the Spurs and now he’s had a couple of days off to get rested. The Nets are a good matchup as the pace should be up in this one, leading to plenty of DFS points. He looked a little cooled off against the Miami game, but that’s just dropped his salary, making him easier to fit into your lineup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Rajon Rondo (vs BOS – $7,400): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.9 fantasy points against Denver. The Lakers have nothing to play for but that’s not going to stop Rondo from playing hard against the Celtics. If there is one matchup you can count on Rondo to deliver, it’s against the Celtics. The Lakers would be in the playoffs if they played 82 games against the Celtics. Or Rondo decides to quit on the court after all the noice following the Denver game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Spencer Dinwiddie (at ATL – $7,000): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.3 fantasy points against Cleveland. The same reason I like Young is why I like Dinwiddie. He looked back in form against the Cavaliers, though that was the Cavaliers. The Hawks are just as good of a matchup given their pace. And if Dinwiddie is back in form, he should be in for a big night with this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
