IndyCar live stream: Watch Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg online
The 2019 IndyCar season starts with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Here’s how to watch IndyCar online and on TV from St. Petersburg.
Say hello to the NTT IndyCar Series. The newly rebranded 2019 IndyCar season begins now, so find out how to watch IndyCar online and live this weekend, because the name is just one of the many things that’ve changed.
The 2019 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg features several new drivers trying their luck in America’s open-wheel league, including Marcus Ericsson (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports), Felix Rosenqvist (Chip Ganassi Racing), and Colton Herta (Harding Steinbrenner Racing). All of them will want to make some noise in their first races.
Ed Jones has moved from Ganassi to Ed Carpenter Racing, while Charlie Kimball has gone from running a full season to just a partial season for Carlin. NTT has replaced Verizon as the league’s title sponsor, and LED panels are making a comeback on the sides of cars, hopefully allowing fans to keep better track of where their favorite is running.
Oh, and there’s also a new TV deal with NBC Sports exclusively, so that’s changed up how to watch this season, too. There are a lot of variables, so motorsports fans will want to be tuned in to see how they all play out. Will the changes have a huge effect on the racing? Or will the veterans continue to rule the roost?
