High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Bobby Portis (vs SAC – $6,500): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.9 fantasy points against Minnesota. Portis broke the trend and remains up against the Timberwolves. And now he gets the Kings. I know I’m a broken record at this point with this matchup but that’s how much I believe in this matchup. And Portis has been good more often than not as a member of the Wizards. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Derrick Favors (vs OKC – $6,500): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23 fantasy points against Memphis. Favors has been up-and-down recently but one matchup he has done very well against this season is the Thunder. He’s averaging 35.1 fantasy points in three games against OKC this season, including a 46.2 fantasy point effort on Feb. 22. They don’t have an answer for him and he should continue to hurt them on the boards and in the paint. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (at CLE – $6,400): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – fantasy 30.1 points against Miami. Ibaka has found himself again and that’s a good sign for his value moving forward. If you want to save some money at this position, you can look towards Jerami Grant, who has played well against the Jazz this season. Or find someone of the Kings or Wizards. But Ibaka should have no issue against the Cavaliers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
