Players costing $6,250 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (vs UTA – $6,200): Needs 28.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.75 fantasy points against Golden State. I still can’t believe Oubre Jr is under the salary line given how well he’s played for the Suns. The Jazz are a tough matchup but the Suns are at home and playing well. And the Jazz are a better matchup than you may think on the road. Oubre Jr has just been too since the trade to deny. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Dennis Schroder (vs BKN – $5,600): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Utah. Schroder found his scoring tough against the Jazz, which is hopefully a good sign for his value. He’s all over the place and not reliable with his shooting, but the opportunities will continue to be there for him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (at WAS – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.75 fantasy points against Memphis. Ross is the ultimate boom or bust player right now. If he’s down, he’ll be down in a big way because that’s what he does. But he shouldn’t be down against the Wizards. It’s the Wizards. The points will be there for both teams in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
