2019 NFL mock draft: Drew Lock heads to Broncos
By Brad Weiss
The Tennessee Titans barely missed out on the playoffs last season, as they lost a Week 17 matchup against division rival Indianapolis. Because of that, the Titans will have to seriously look to revamp this roster, as the AFC South is slated to be loaded next season, now that Andrew Luck is back to his old self.
The Titans first round selection will come at No. 19 overall, where they should look to bring in an edge rusher, and Rashan Gary from Michigan is a guy who really improved his stock at the NFL Scouting Combine. He was a beast during his time with the Wolverines, and is a player who can play up and down the defensive line.
Everybody knew Gary would test well, as he is an absolute freak of nature, and now he will have to go out and prove his worth on the field. The Titans would be a great situation for him at the NFL level, as they still have the talent to be a playoff contender, and are a couple pieces away from challenging in the AFC South next season.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota is one of the better signal-callers in football, but the team will be expecting him to take a big step forward in 2019. Remember, he led this team to a Wild Card victory on the road inside Arrowhead Stadium two years ago, and the team needs to make sure the defense continues to grow as well.
