Safety. Mississippi State. Johnathan Abram. 21. player. 36.

The Seattle Seahawks made it all the way to the playoffs last season, and had a chance to advance to the Divisional Round against the Dallas Cowboys. Unfortunately for the Seahawks, they would fall to Dak Prescott in the Wild Card round, but in such a season of turmoil, Pete Carroll may have done his best coaching job.

Fast forward to this upcoming season, and there is a lot to like about this Seahawks team. They had some no-name players really step up for them last season, and in the 2019 NFL Draft, they should look to add more talent to a young, and solid overall roster.

Last season was the last for Earl Thomas on the Seahawks, as he will be a free agent this offseason, and his last moment with the team was his flipping off the sideline after tearing up his knee. At pick No. 21, Seattle could look to bring in a replacement for Thomas, and Johnathan Abram is a guy who could creep into the first round.

Abram is by far one of the better safeties in this draft class, and one of the few who some feel has a first round grade on him. He would be an instant starter for the Seahawks, who should be even better in 2019, and still have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in veteran Russell Wilson.
