NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight is a strange night where there is a plethora of great goaltending options to pick from. I really don’t have a solid #1 option because there are reasons to use all these goalies so I will break them down in price order for you instead of by preference.

$8,300 – Jordan Binnington, Andrei Vasilevskiy

Binnington, if he plays, is on the road against the team everyone loves to pick on, Ottawa. In the month of March, Ottawa is only averaging 2.33 GF/G, but takes 29.2 SOG P/G. Valilevskiy is in Detroit taking on a Red Wings team that averages just 1.67 GF/G in March, and only takes 26 SOG P/G.

$8,100 – Matt Murray

Murray and the Penguins head to upstate NY to take on the Sabres in a game that is huge for both teams. Murray has won 5 of his last 6 starts and has only allowed 11 goals during this 6 game span.

7,800 – Ben Bishop

Bishop is 8-2 in his last 10 starts and has done well in his three starts against the Wild this season. In his 3 starts Bishop is 2-1 with a 1.31 GAA and .955 SV% stopping 84 of 88 shots for an average of 6.3 DKFP per game.

7,300 – John Gibson

Gibson had a great performance in his last game against Nashville on Tuesday night stopping 32 pucks and allowing only 2 goals for a total of 7.4 DKFP

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – FEBRUARY 16: Filip Forsberg #9 of the Nashville Predators waits for a faceoff in the third period of a game against the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena on February 16, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. NHL DFS Top Forwards:

Top Tier:

Brad Marchand ($7,600) – Marchand had 3 assists in the Bruins lone tilt with the Jets this season and also an 8 game point streak. During his 8 game streak Marchand has 6 goals and 8 assists as well as 31 shot on goal. Marchand and line mates Patrice Bergeron and Danton Heinen make for a great stack

Timo Meier ($6,700) – Speaking of point streaks, Meier is on his own 6 game point streak. During Meier’s steak he has 5 goals and 2 assists. San Jose and Florida have one of the highest projected goal totals for tonight with  a 6.5 total. Meier and the Sharks should but up a few goals tonight and I want to  try to fit some of San Jose into my lineup

Filip Forsberg ($6,600) – Forsberg plays with Ryan Johansen and Wayne Simmonds which makes for a pretty good stack that will most likely be low owned. During the last 4 games for Forsberg he has 2 goals and an assist and has 2 goals and an 22.

Mid Tier:

Jonathan Huberdeau ($6,200) – I don’t care that Huberdeau is playing against one of the hottest teams and goalies in the league, he is on fire right now and he will probably get over looked tonight. Huberdeau has 9 points (4 goals 5 assists ) in his last 3 games and is averaging near 9 DKFP per game

Eric Staal/Jason Zucker ($5,300) – Like I did Tuesday night for Calgary’s top line, I will try to get Staal and Zucker going tonight. They have done next to nothing for this team that is in the play off hunt and could use the two points against Dallas who is right ahead of them in the standings

Jaden Schwartz ($4,600) – St. Louis is in Ottawa tonight and the Blues have lost 2 in a row and need a win big time tonight. Schwartz plays on the second line currently and the top PP unit, and he did score the Blues only goal last game against Arizona, but they will need more from Schwartz and the rest of the Blues top 2 units

Value Tier:

Tyler Johnson (4,300) – Johnson’s production has been spotty lately, he had only three points (a goal and two assists) in his prior 10 contests heading into Tuesday where he tallied twice for the Lightning.

Christian Dvorak ($4,000) – After being held off the score sheet in his first 4 games this season, Dvorak has 2 goals and 2 assists in his next 4. Dvorak is an absolute bargain for a guy who is centering the teams 2nd line and playing upwards of 17 minutes a game.

Scott Laughton ($3,600) – Laughton has points in 5 straight games for the Flyers, 3 goals and 2 assists, while centering the Flyers 3rd line with Michael Raffl and Ryan Hartman

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – MARCH 03: Dmitry Orlov #9 of the Washington Capitals skates against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on March 03, 2019 in New York City. The Capitals defeated the Rangers 3-2 in the shoot-out. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Top Defensemen:

Top Tier:

Roman Josi ($6,200) – In 2 games against the Kings this season Josi has 1 goal and 3 assists as well as a goal and 3 assists in his last 4 games. Jose plays in pretty much every situation for the Preds and it shows by his TOI, he averages over 25 minutes on the year, but has been play 26 minutes plus of late.

Other Options: Shea Weber ($6,200), John Klingberg ($5,800)

Value Tier:

Dmitry Orlov ($3,900) – Orlov has 7 assists in his last 10 games and 4 in his last 4 games. In two games against the Flyers this season Orlov has 2 assists as well as 4 shots on goal and 3 blocked shots.

Other Options: Brendan Carlo ($3,100), Josh Manson ($3,000)

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – FEBRUARY 12: Danton Heinen #43 of the Boston Bruins celebrates with Brad Marchand #63 after scoring a goal against the Chicago Blackhawks during the first period at TD Garden on February 12, 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts. (Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Line Stacks:

My favorite line stack for tonight is the Penguins top line in Buffalo. This line has been playing very well together with Crosby leading the way, of course.

More from FanSided

JARED MCCANN
SIDNEY CROSBY
JAKE GUENTZEL

Next, is the Bruins top PP unit against the Jets tonight. Boston has been ravaged by injuries but this unit seems to just keep plugging along with different players joining based on injury.

BRAD MARCHAND
PATRICE BERGERON
DANTON HEINEN
CHARLIE MCAVOY
DAVID KREJCI

Other Line Stacks:

San Jose 1 & PP 2

Winnipeg 1

St. Louis 1

Montreal PP 2

Tampa PP 1

Dallas 1

Anaheim 3

Arizona 2

Los Angeles 3

NHL DFS Core Plays:

I am starting my build with Sidney Crosby and Jared McCann, until someone slows these guys down, I will keep playing them, and I don’t see Buffalo being that team tonight. After that I am liking a Fla/SJ stack of Huberdeau, Meier, and Joe ThorntonIn net I am torn between using John Gibson and Ben Bishop, but as of this writing I am using Gibson. I will use Orlov on D, so that will leave you $4,700 for your final two spots.
