The 2019 NASCAR season arrives on the West Coast with the Auto Club 400, so find out how to watch NASCAR online or live today, as Southern California plays host to its first race of the year.
Sunday’s event in Fontana is round five of the season, and Martin Truex Jr. will be hoping that he can make it two consecutive victories there in a row. Snagging a checkered flag here would be a huge boost for Truex in his first season with a new team. It would not only nab him his first victory in 2019, but also make him part of track history.
Only four drivers have won this event more than once, and only two of them are still active in NASCAR. Unfortunately for Truex, those two are multiple-time champion Jimmie Johnson (who won at Fontana in 2002, 2010 and 2016) and one of the sport’s hot hands, Kyle Busch (race winner in 2013 and 2014).
Busch has momentum, too, having won the previous race—could he continue his success in California? Racing fans will want to watch NASCAR online and/or live this weekend just to see if experience takes all, or a new first-time winner is crowned.
