High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Marvin Bagley III (vs CHI – $6,000): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.3 fantasy points against Philadelphia. MB3 is back in the lineup but still isn’t playing his usual minutes. The good news is that he’s still getting numbers and his minutes should keep going up. The other good news is that he gets to go up against the Bulls. This could be a breakout game for MB3. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Rodions Kurucs (at LAC – $4,800): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.9 fantasy points against Utah. Kurucs was down against the Jazz but it’s a rough night at the power forward position and Kurucs usually gets the minutes and opportunities. I’ll chalk up Saturday to an off night and expect him to be better against the Clippers. He’s earned that respect with the way he’s played since moving to the starting lineup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good cieling.

PJ Tucker (vs MIN – $4,600): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21 fantasy points against Phoenix. Tucker will rarely have a huge game, and I definitely don’t expect it here, but he usually gets the minutes and opportunities. And the matchup is very good because the Timberwolves don’t play defense and Tucker can force them into mistakes on offense. He won’t hurt you at this salary either. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
