Napoli face Udinese at San Paolo Stadium on Sunday, March 17. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Napoli are second in Serie A this season and will likely finish as runners-up to Juventus for a second straight season. On Sunday, Napoli host Udinese at the San Paolo. Udinese are 15th in the table but could drop into the relegation zone. Udinese are only four points above the bottom three.
Napoli drew 1-1 with Sassuolo last weekend. In the eight games since the end of the winter break, the Donkeys have won only three times, picking up 13 points. The recent poor run from Napoli allowed Juventus to open up an 18 point lead. Napoli poor run lately can be attributed to Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens struggling. Insigne and Mertens combined for 17 goals in the first 11 games of the season. However, over the last 16 games, Insigne and Mertens have combined for only three goals.
Udinese lost to Juventus last weekend and have only seven points in their last seven games. With only four points separating Udinese and the relegation zone, the Little Zebras need to start picking up points if they are going to remain in Serie A. Rodrigo de Paul is the best attacking player on Udinese. The team’s captain has seven goals and four assists this season and could be in line for a move to a bigger club in the summer.
