One of the best times of the sports calendar is upon us with March Madness ready to take over our lives for the next few weeks. Now is the time to get bragging rights on your family, co-workers and friends and win your NCAA Tournament pool.
Filling out the bracket is a prerequisite to enjoying the NCAA Tournament, and itās important to remember to have fun with it. Itās no fun to go chalk and pick all the top seeds to advance. Historically, the chances of all four No. 1 seeds making the Final Four is not in your favor, so pick some upsets, because thatās what this is all about.
On Selection Sunday when the teams are announced and the regions begin to fill, make sure youāve printed out our blank NCAA Tournament bracket. Some of the top teams in the NCAA Tournament this year are Duke, Kentucky, Virginia, Gonzaga, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan State and Michigan. Will one of those teams end up cutting the nets down as CBS plays āOne Shining Moment?ā
Well, thatās why we watch the games on CBS, TNT, TBS and TruTV.
And this Tournament is loaded with stars, especially Dukeās Zion Williamson who is the front-runner to win the National Player of the Year and be the top pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Whether you hate Duke or not, itās hard not to love Zion and the excitement and joy he brings to the court.
But there are great players all around the country, and in every region of the bracket, so be sure youāre tuned in when the games begin on Thursday, March 21 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. Itās also important to remember the First Four games that begin on March 19-20 if your bracket counts those two play-in games.
