Watch 2019 NCAA Tournament Selection Show: March Madness bracket reveal
March Madness and the Road to the Final Four starts with Selection Sunday. Here’s what you need to watch the Selection Show that will reveal the bracket.
March Madness has arrived and the first stop is 2019 Selection Sunday. Which teams earned automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament? Which bubble teams made it? Who were the first four out? Where are teams going for the First and Second Rounds? This is where the madness begins as fans learn which teams will be going to the Big Dance and where they’ll be playing over the course of the next few weeks as the Road to the Final Four begins. We have everything you need to watch Selection Sunday on television and online.
Selection Sunday follows the conclusion of Championship Week. After all of the conference tournaments have wrapped up on Sunday afternoon, the NCAA D-I Men’s Basketball Committee meets to decide which teams will head into the postseason.
Many of the teams have already punched their dance tickets after landing in the top-25 polls during the regular season. Others win trips to the postseason after winning their respective conference championships and earning the automatic NCAA Tournament bid. The rest of the field is determined after carefully considering season records, strength of schedule and key wins and losses. Some bubble teams make it in while the bubble pops for others.
After Selection Sunday, the Road to the Final Four begins. The First Four play March 19-20, followed by the First and Second Rounds March 21-24. Regional play takes place March 28-31 and ends with the Final Four.
This year’s Final Four is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The last four teams standing play on April 6 and the National Championship game is on April 8.
