Here’s what you need to know about the Black Lightning season 2 finale, including how you can watch The CW series online.

At least one confrontation in the Black Lightning season 2 finale has been coming for a while. No, not between Jefferson and Tobias, it seems like he’s around for the long haul, but between Lynn and Dr. Jace. The two have been at odds since Jace’s introduction because of their differing beliefs about their patients. Then Jace lost all her standing with Lynn by helping Tobias steal away the pod children earlier in the season.

Needless to say, Lynn won’t be feeling too sympathetic for Dr. Jace when they meet again. A sneak peek scene shows some of that meeting, as well as Jefferson’s impressed (and possibly slightly amused) reaction to it.

Tobias, however, remains the biggest threat to Black Lightning And Jefferson’s family. With Jennifer still out for his blood, and probably thinking with her heart rather than her mind, Tobias won’t go out (of the season) quietly.

The episode’s promo puts Jennifer in her new ‘Lightning suit’ presumably on Tobias’ trail. Hopefully, Gamby was able to iron out whatever the issues were that made her/it short-circuit (for lack of a better word) in episode 15.

If you combine Lynn’s work with the pod children, Jennifer’s pursuit of Tobias, Anissa’s relationship issues, and Tobias’ vendetta against Black Lightning it seems a lot to cram into one episode. More likely a few of these storylines will carry over to season 3. A good bet would be Anissa’s relationship with Grace and everything about Tobias. That’s assuming the show ties up loose ends at all. It could give Jefferson and co. another clash with Tobias and leave all the bigger questions unanswered just as easily.

The Black Lightning season 2 finale will air Monday night at 9 p.m. on the CW.
