High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dewayne Dedmon (vs HOU – $5,600): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Orlando. Dedmon has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. His salary has climbed a bit but the minutes are always there and he plays for a team that allows him to come into plenty of fantasy points. He had 29.25. fantasy points when these two teams met a month ago. I like his ceiling but I’m a bit concerned about his reliability just because he’s been all over the place this season. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Brook Lopez (vs LAL – $5,500): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. I also like Jarrett Allen at this same salary as he’s been playing very well. He’s not quite as reliable. Lopez didn’t have the big outing against the Lakers that I expected him to have last time out. But we know what he’s capable of and we also know how bad the Lakers are. He’s too good to struggle against them again. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Boban Marjanovic (at CHA – $4,100): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. No Embiid means more Boban. Someone has to get numbers for the Sixers at this position and Boban will be their best option. The Hornets don’t have much of a frontcourt and Boban can certainly take advantage of their lack of size with his all the size. Take advantage of Embiid being out and always take Boban. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
