High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Thaddeus Young (at LAC – $5,900): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against Portland. It’s a back-to-back for the Pacers but Young has been a solid option for most of the season. Longtime readers will know how I feel about the Pacers frontcourt duo. Sabonis has the higher ceiling but Young is the more reliable option. He had 36.25 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Clippers on Feb. 7. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (vs BKN – $5,400): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.75 fantasy points against Chicago. MB3 is back, baby. He had a big game against the Bulls even though he didn’t play huge minutes. The minutes should continue to increase and MB3 has proven that he can put up big numbers. And the Nets frontcourt is certainly a good matchup. I continue to love his game and he remains at a great salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Danuel House Jr (at ATL – $3,800): Needs 17.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. House didn’t start against the Timberwolves but he still played solid enough minutes. I assume that will be the case in this matchup. And it’s the Hawks, a team where everyone has a strong game against. House finds his way into numbers because he can knock down shots and chip in with rebounds. He’s basically the younger version of PJ Tucker at this point. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
