High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Klay Thompson (at MIN – $8,400): Needs 35 fantasy points. It’s a back-to-back for the Warriors but don’t be too concerned. They are the Warriors. And they’re up against the Timberwolves. And Klay Thompson always gets the minutes and shots to make an impact. I don’t trust Jimmy Butler to keep playing like this and Harden’s ceiling is high but the matchup might be a little too good for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (at SAC – $8,100): Needs 33.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Russell looked a bit more like himself against the Clippers and hopefully, it’s a return to form for him. The re-addition of Caris LeVert to the starting lineup actually helps him because it takes some pressure off of him even if LeVert isn’t back to form. The matchup certainly helps him as well. The Kings are always a good team to take advantage of. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Khris Middleton (vs LAL – $7,700): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.4 fantasy points against Philadelphia. If Giannis is out of the lineup, Middleton’s ceiling is higher but he’s slightly less reliable because there will be more pressure on him. The good news is that he’s up against the Lakers. Even with the extra attention…it’s the Lakers. Middleton should have no problem getting his numbers in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
