High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (at CLE – $6,400): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.3 fantasy points against LA Lakers. It’s a back-to-back for the Bucks but they just played the Lakers and now they get Cavaliers. So is it really a back-to-back? You typically know what you’re getting with Lopez. He’s a boom or bust kind of guy who he booms more than he busts. And the minutes and opportunities are always there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Robin Lopez (vs WAS – $6,400): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.4 fantasy points against Phoenix. Robin Lopez is still the best center in the league and he walks into a great matchup against the Bulls. He’s the guy who has continued to get numbers in the Bulls frontcourt and until he stops getting numbers in the Bulls frontcourt, I will continue to take him. He had 27.6 fantasy points in 19 minutes against the Wizards on Feb. 9. He should have more minutes in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Steven Adams (vs TOR – $6,400): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.9 fantasy points against Miami. I realize I didn’t give you much salary variety. If you want someone cheaper, there’s Joakim Noah and a bunch of unreliable options. Blame the salary makers, not me. Adams gets the minutes and opportunities for a guy at this salary and once again, I expect a strong performance against the Thunder given the circumstances. Russell Westbrook’s return hurts his rebounding but helps his scoring. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
