36. Jeff Jones, Old Dominion

Jones has certainly been well-traveled, with lengthy tenures at Virginia and American before his current run at Old Dominion. The Monarchs have gone 140-66 since Jones took over in 2013, and his hard work was finally rewarded with a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

35. Travis Ford, Saint Louis

After getting dumped by Oklahoma State after an underwhelming eight-year run, Ford landed at Saint Louis to replace Jim Crews. Ford has done a great job building up the Billikens, taking a team that went 11-21 in the two years prior to his arrival and getting it back to the NCAA Tournament in three years.

34. Ritchie McKay, Liberty

McKay has coached at four different stops before finding a home at Liberty. The Flames have thrived under McKay, recording at least 21 wins in the past three years and earning a trip to the postseason on each occasion.

33. Rick Byrd, Belmont

Byrd has been an institution at Belmont, coaching the Bruins since 1986, when they played in the NAIA. Belmont has made it to the NCAA Tournament eight times under Byrd, who is 712-346 as the Bruins’ head coach, and they earned a well-deserved at-large berth to the dance this season.
