64. Greg Herenda, Fairleigh Dickinson

The Knights haven’t had a ton of success under Herenda, who has a losing record as their coach, but they have reached the NCAA Tournament twice under his watch. Herenda does have a good track record with DII UMass Lowell, reaching the DII Tournament four times in five years before being named the head coach at Fairleigh Dickinson.

63. Matt Langel, Colgate

Langel has been the coach at Colgate for the past eight years, and they haven’t much to write home about prior to last season when the Raiders went 19-14 to reach the CBI. Colgate built on that success this year by going 24-10 and won the Patriot League Tournament title for the first time since 1996.

62. Chris Mullin, St. John’s

This may seem low for the permanent coach of a power conference team, but Mullin has had to overcome a huge learning curve after getting the job at his alma mater without any prior coaching experience. The Red Storm posted their first winning season under Mullin this year and are playing in the First Four, but a 59-72 record will put you down towards the bottom of the list.

61. Brian Wardle, Bradley

After putting together a solid run at Green Bay which included two trips to the NIT, Brian Wardle landed at Bradley in 2015. The Braves won a combined 18 games in Bradley’s first two years, but Wardle has put together back-to-back 20 win campaigns since, including a furious 18-point comeback to win the Missouri Valley Tournament this year.
