40. Ron Hunter, Georgia State

Perhaps most famous for falling off his stool when son R.J. hit a buzzer beater to top Baylor, Ron Hunter has had an incredible run at Georgia State. Since arriving after a long run at IUPUI in 2011, Hunter has gone 171-94 at Georgia State, including three trips to the NCAA Tournament.

39. Tim Cluess, Iona

One of the most underrated head coaches in America is Iona’s Tim Cluess, who has gone 199-107 since taking over in New Rochelle in 2010. Iona has made the postseason in all nine years that Cluess has been at the helm, including a rare at-large bid out of the MAAC in 2012 as part of six NCAA Tournament appearances. That stretch includes four straight MAAC Tournament titles, the longest active streak in the country.

38. Johnny Dawkins, UCF

Dawkins, a longtime assistant under Mike Krzyzewski at Duke, had a decent run at Stanford before getting let go in 2016. UCF promptly scooped up Dawkins and have reaped the benefits, going 66-33 over the past three years and getting back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005.

37. Steve Wojciehowski, Marquette

Another longtime Duke assistant coach, Wojo has done great work at Marquette. The Golden Eagles have gone 97-68 in Wojo’s five years at the helm, including two trips to March Madness.
