4. Kentucky-North Carolina, Midwest Region, Elite Eight

This battle of blue bloods could be another must-watch affair with a trip to the Final Four on the line. We just sang Kentucky’s praises in the previous slide, so let’s dip back into what makes North Carolina so exciting for a minute.

The Tar Heels have an excellent mix of youth and experience on their roster, headlined by Luke Maye, who was a key reserve on North Carolina’s national championship team two years ago. Cameron Johnson has been North Carolina’s best scorer all season long, and White’s emergence as a third option has made it tough for opponents to defend the Tar Heels.

Kentucky could be well suited to that challenge due to their length and athleticism, which could be a good match for the Tar Heels’ deep rotation. These two schools met in this very round two years ago, when North Carolina outlasted Kentucky 75-73 to earn a trip to the Final Four.

The Tar Heels ended up cutting down the nets that year, and Kentucky would love to return the favor on their way back to a championship parade.
