While chips and appetizers are nice, there’s a good chance your March Madness viewing will take you to at least one meal a day. Since the tournament can make you very hungry, here are some great meals to have while you watch the prime-time action.

Burgers: There’s nothing wrong with having a burger while you watch the game, and any bar worth it’s salt can make a good one. Whether you want a classic hamburger or a specialty option, a good burger is worth its weight in gold.

Pizza: If you’re having company, the easiest option to cater to your friends is ordering some pizzas. A good slice is a nice comfort item if your team is about to get upset in a 5-12 matchup.

Italian Hero: Another good idea for company is to order an Italian hero. A 3-foot sandwich filled with Italian meats and cheeses is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

Hot Dogs: It may not be baseball season yet, but hot dogs are always a solid option for any sporting event. Fire up your grill and throw on some dogs (we recommend Nathan’s) for a taste of summer during the Madness.

Chicken fingers: The child in all of us loves chicken fingers, so why not cook some for March Madness? Simply throw your favorite chicken fingers in the oven and you’ll be ready to chow down in a matter of minutes.

Macaroni and Cheese: If you loved the mac and cheese bites from our apps section, why not go for the genuine item? Another easy to make comfort dish, macaroni and cheese is a good option to put out alongside your spread of food.

Sausage and Peppers: Italian food is awesome, and sausage and peppers are a great option to prepare if you’re having company. A nice large tray of sausage and peppers will satisfy pretty much everyone.

Fried Chicken: We already covered chicken wings and popcorn chicken in the appetizers section, so good old fried chicken is a natural choice. A little bit of southern comfort can go a long way if your bracket is about to bust.
