WWE NXT preview for March 20, 2019: Watch online

Triple H comes to Full Sail to address the NXT Championship. This is everything you need to know to prepare for you the upcoming edition of WWE NXT for March 20 on the WWE Network.

DISCLAIMER: WWE NXT is a pre-taped wrestling program, and results of the show have already hit the internet ahead of time. We will not be spoiling those results here at FanSided; thanks for reading.

As of late, WWE NXT has been all about the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but with the finals of the tournament not taking place until next week’s edition of NXT all eyes will be on the future of Tommaso Ciampa and the NXT Championship.

Unfortunately, as we all know by now, Ciampa has suffered a neck injury and has recently undergone surgery to repair it, leaving the champion of the black and yellow brand on the shelf for an unforeseen amount of time. Due to this, Triple H will be making a special appearance at Full Sail University on Wednesday night to address the situation.

What will the founder of NXT have to say regarding Ciampa’s championship? Most would think Ciampa will be stripped of his title for being unable to compete by NXT Takeover: New York. So how will they crown a new champion? Who will be in the match? Hopefully, we get answers to all of these questions tonight on the WWE Network.

Date: Wednesday, March 20th, 2019
Time: 8:00 pm EST
Location: Orlando, Florida
Venue: Full Sail University
Live Stream: WWE Network

Beyond Triple H’s announcement, we don’t know a whole lot about what to expect this week on NXT. We do know the much-anticipated rematch between Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic is scheduled to take place, and if we’re lucky this match will actually give us a definitive conclusion.

We also know that the finals of the Dusty Classic take place next week but before we find out who the War Raiders will face at Takeover, here is what we can expect to see on this week’s episode of NXT.

  • Triple H’s announcement regarding the NXT Championship
  • Punishment Martinez versus Riddick Moss
  • Keith Lee goes one-on-one with Dominik Dijakovic
  • A potential match to set up the NXT title picture at Takeover if Ciampa is stripped of the title

With Takeover just a few weeks away, there is absolutely no chance that you can miss NXT tonight on the WWE Network. As the card continues to take shape, what do you hope happens with the NXT Championship? Sound off in the comments below.
