DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 21, 2019
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Dwight Powell (at SAC – $6,000): Needs 29 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.75 fantasy points against Portland. It’s a back-to-back for the Mavericks but if Kleber is out once again, Well remains their strongest frontcourt option. And it’s the Kings. There will be plenty of numbers to go around in this game. And someone has to get those numbers for the Mavericks frontcourt. Despite the back-to-back, his ceiling is very high and the matchup is great. The matchup is better than it was against Portland. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Frank Kaminsky (vs MIN – $4,700): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME -21.75 fantasy points against Philadelphia. It is a weak night when it comes to depth. But with Cody Zeller unlikely to play, Kaminsky will continue to get minutes in the Charlotte frontcourt. And we know he can score, if nothing else. And the matchup is good against the Timberwolves. At least the minutes will be there, which counts for something when you’re trying to find a diamond in the rough. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Mason Plumlee (at WAS – $4,200): Needs 20.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.5 fantasy points against Boston. Plumlee is getting decent enough minutes and even though he’s been down in the last couple of games, he gets the Wizards on Thursday. The Wizards are on a back-to-back and don’t have much in terms of their frontcourt, especially with their defense. This could end up getting ugly and if it does, Plumlee will see more minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
