Players costing $6,250 or under

Marvin Bagley III (vs DAL – $5,600): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Longtime reader will know that I love me some MB3. He’s looking healthy again, playing more minutes and his production continues to climb. And his salary hasn’t quite reached the level to where he should scare you off. And it’s the Mavericks, who aren’t good and are on a back-to-back. Keep riding MB3. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Dewayne Dedmon (vs UTA – $5,300): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 16.75 fantasy points against Houston. Dedmon was down against the Rockets but there are two things working in his favor on Thursday. First, the Jazz are on a back-to-back. Second, Derrick Favors might be out, which will limit their frontcourt. Okay, three things. He had 35.75 fantasy points against the Jazz on Feb. 1. Trust him to bounce back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jae Crowder (at ATL – $4,900): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.25 fantasy points against New York. With or without Favors, Crowder should see plenty of minutes in this game. He had 27 fantasy points against the Hawks on Feb. 1 and, as always, you can take plenty of players against the Hawks. He can do a bit of everything and if Favors doesn’t play, Crowder should find himself into more minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
