High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs IND – $9,300): Needs 38.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.9 fantasy points against Minnesota. On most nights you know what you’re getting with Durant and I can’t imagine him failing to score like he did against the Timberwolves. But he has been down in the last couple of games as Steph and Klay have asserted their dominance. Durant will still get you numbers and he has a good ceiling because he can get hot at any moment. But he seems to have taken a step back at the moment. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Jabari Parker (vs DEN – $6,700): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.7 fantasy points against Chicago. It’s a back-to-back for the Wizards and the Nuggets are not an easy matchup. The Wizards are at home, which certainly helps. And Parker has played well more often than not for the Wizards. And there’s not much going on at the small forward position. Parker is usually good for offense and should get you value if nothing else in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Joe Ingles (at ATL – $6,200): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against New York. Ingles is below the line, but again, it’s not a good night at the small forward position for value. It’s a back-to-back for the Jazz but they got plenty of rest against the Knicks. And now they get the Hawks, a style that will help them get plenty of fantasy points. Much like Parker, Ingles will get you value if nothing else and I think his ceiling is a bit higher just due to the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
