High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Blake Griffin (at PHO – $8,400): Needs 36.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.1 fantasy points against Toronto. Blake should have plenty of rest coming into this one and he’s coming into a great matchup because the Suns are always a great matchup. He’s been down in a big way as of late but hopefully, the extra rest has him feeling good. And it’s the Suns. I have to trust the matchup in this one and we know Blake has a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Paul Millsap (at WAS – $7,500): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.7 fantasy points against Boston. I’ve been banging on Millsap since the break because he’s a guy you can count on to raise his level going into the postseason. The Nuggets are not satisfied and the Wizards are not good. This could end up getting ugly but if it gets ugly, it’ll be because Millsap imposes his will. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Dwight Powell (at SAC – $6,900): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.8 fantasy points against. With no Kleber, Powell is the only frontcourt option once again. It’s a back-to-back but it’s also the Kings. I’m going to trust him to bounce back against a great matchup just because the Mavericks have no other great frontcourt options. The pace will be up and Powell should come into plenty of points and rebounds in this game. Assuming he gets the minutes, and he should definitely get the minutes, the production will be there in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
