DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks March 22
Our massive DraftKings EuroLeague finishes off with most of the stars of the league in action. You need to find value on this slate, and you need to clear 150 to even think about cashing. Yesterday you could get away with a 130.

Deandre Kane, Matt Janning, Kartal Ozmizrak, Markel Brown, and Patricio Garino join Jayson Granger, Tornike Shengelia, Anthony Gill, Arturas Gudaitis, and Nikos Pappas among the ranks of the out.
Only Gabriel Deck, Matt Lojeski, and Konstantinos Mitoglou are listed as questionable. Not only are most of the stars in action on this slate, but we don’t have to worry about injury news for them!
The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.

DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:
It comes down to Mike James and Alexey Shved for top billing yet again, but Nick Calathes is in this tier today because his matchup is much better than both of the others. James only had 29 DraftKings points in the first game against Athens. Calathes had a monster 45.5 DraftKings points against James and Milan. We don’t know what to expect from Shved, but he hasn’t been below 30 all season. It’s between him and Calathes today. With a little creativity, you may even be able to put both in.
I kind of think the next tier is going to be totally ignored because people will be trying to cram in two of the top three. Sergio Llull and Toney Douglas both have strong matchups here. If choosing one, Llull is probably the way to go.
Marcelino Huertas and Luca Vildoza are a nice tandem for Baskonia and did well against Real Madrid in the first meeting. Huertas is the guy you want if only using one.
It appears as though Nate Wolters lost his job to Marius Grigonis while he was out. Grigonis is still in play since he is seeing most of the minutes. I don’t like Facundo Campazzo as much in this tier with Llull playing well, but I could see pairing them together.
For now, Stefan Markovic has eclipsed Charles Jenkins. Markovic has a nice matchup here. He’s a little higher priced than most value picks, but he should be worth it. Leo Westermann also continues to play well, but the amount of Zalgiris guards playing well terrifies me. Thomas Walkup continues to be a EuroLeague force as well. There is just no room left for Wolters. You don’t want to mess with the rest of these guys playing well.
Yovel Zoosman and Jeremy Pargo stepped up their game with Deandre Kane out. They are both solid value picks. I would play both of them over Michael Roll.
Andrew Harrison made his long awaited debut on Wednesday, and he put up an impressive 18.5 DraftKings points. He is a must play at this price!
DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:
I was wondering when this would happen. Johannes Voigtmann’s 13 straight rounds of more than 20 DraftKings points has finally caused his price to get up over $11,000. The issue I have is that Voigtmann’s price went up again despite this nasty matchup with Real Madrid. I’m going to pass on Voigtmann today, which is the first time I have in a while.

The only top tier forward with a good matchup is Brandon Davies. With Harrison now in the fold, Malcolm Thomas’s production finally dropped. I’m not sure we can trust the value of Thomas or Jordan Mickey now with the elite guard play Khimki has going on. Though Mickey had a superb game in his return.
This is another superb matchup for Tarik Black, who has become an automatic 22-28 DraftKings points. I’ll take that for the price. Black doesn’t have the upside of most, but his floor is as steady as you will find in the EuroLeague.
You know me, I like consistency. For that reason, I would take Jeremy Evans over Ioannis Papapetrou. For the money though, it’s hard to match the upside on Johnny O’Bryant today.
I like the matchup for Milan today. James Nunnally has more upside, but Vladimir Micov has been the steady force. Use whichever fits your build the best. However, I’m a sucker for the matchup for Tel Aviv. Eric destroyed Khimki on the inside on Wednesday. Angelo Caloiaro is an excellent play while O’Bryant has the most upside.
Georgios Papagiannis continues to put up strong numbers for Athens, and I like running back a Milan front stack with him. Kaleb Tarczewski is the stead force for Milan, but doesn’t have the upside of Nunnally or Micov.
Aaron White and Edgaras Ulanovas are providing good value for Zalgiris lately. Zanis Peiners remains a good value play as well, but I don’t know that I would go any lower.
