FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 22, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Russell Westbrook (at TOR – $11,700): Needs 51.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 59.2 fantasy points against Toronto. Russell Westbrook rarely lacks for numbers and with the way Paul George is playing, Westbrook has had to carry even more of the offensive load. He’s been over 59 fantasy points in three of his last four games. And with Mike Conley being a scratch, the point guard crop becomes weaker. Westbrook will be at value if nothing else but expect more because he’s Russell Westbrook. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Chris Paul (vs SA – $8,200): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.9 fantasy points against Memphis. You typically know what you’re getting out of Paul. He’s going to be around value if nothing else because of the team he plays for and the ceiling is higher because of the team he plays for. He’s averaging 36.4 fantasy points in two games against the Spurs this season and that’s what he needs for value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Eric Bledsoe (vs MIA – $7,800): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.6 fantasy points against Cleveland. You can always spend less and go with Jamal Murray but the matchup might be too good for the Nuggets. The Knicks are just brutal. Bledsoe is going to get plenty of minutes and opportunities with Giannis out of the lineup and even though Miami is a tough matchup, he’s the top option on a good offense with Giannis out. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
