Welcome to NASCAR DFS Pit Stop: Gander Outdoors Truck Series for Saturday’s TrüNorth Global 250 from Martinsville Speedway.

It’s another race weekend where Kyle Busch will be the NASCAR DFS focus of the entire weekend. Grant Enfinger comes into Martinsville with a 6 point lead in the season standings over Harrison Burton after 3 races in the 2019 season.

Starting position is key here at Martinsville , where the race winner has won from the pole 9 times. Also as a side note this is one of the coolest trophies on the NASCAR circuit with the winner receiving a grandfather clock.

It will be tough for Busch to make value this weekend with his exorbitant price tag of $15,900 for the truck race on Saturday.  I want to roster him because he will most likely win and grab you 90+ points, but I don’t know how confident I am in the value of the field to make him worth his price. Busch isn’t the only NASCAR MENCS driver in this race thought, joining him is Austin Dillon, & Bubba Wallace, and I am really high on one of these drivers, but it might now be the one you think.

NASCAR DFS: Leaders of the Pack

Johnny Sauter ($11,600)

Sauter is the cagey veteran in this race weekend and looks to have the best chance to keep Kyle out of victory lane, Sauter will be seeking his 5th career Martinsville victory on Saturday. Sauter, who returned to ThorSport Racing this year, has made 22 starts at Martinsville with 9 top fives and 12 top-10 finishes, with an average start of 9.1 and an average finish of 12.0.

Matt Crafton ($10,100)

Sauters ThorSport Racing teammate, Matt Crafton, is also going to be a top contender on Saturday. Crafton is yet to finish outside the top 15 this season with his worst finish being 14th in the seasons second race from Atlanta. In the last 5 races from Martinsville, Crafton has led 106 laps and has 2 top tens with an average finish of 11.2.

Other Options: Ben Rhodes ($10, 900), Brett Moffitt ($9,800)

NASCAR DFS: Middle of the Pack

Bubba Wallace ($9,200)

Wallace is another multiple Martinsville race winner that will be in Saturday’s race, Bubba will be driving the No. 22 AM Racing Chevrolet entry. Wallace has two wins in four career starts at Martinsville, and has top-five finishes in each race. His “worst” finish was a 5th place finish in his first visit to the track in 2013.

Ross Chastain ($8,200)

Chastain has been the model of consistency in the Gander Outdoors Truck Series this season, finishing inside the top 10 in all 3 races. Looking at Chastain’s stats for the season it seems he has issues in qualifying, his highest starting position is P16, but manages to finish much better. Chastain is probably my favorite play for this race along with Wallace, and Sauter.

Grant Enfinger ($8,000)

The leader in the standings comes in off his worst finish of the season, 11th, in Las Vegas. Enfinger also sees a price drop of $1,000 from $9,000 to $8,000 which make him a great play because of this.

Other Options: Harrison Burton ($8,600)

NASCAR DFS: Back of the Pack

Austin Hill ($7,500)

Hill started out this season on a great note by winning the season opening race at Daytona, and then followed that up with a 7th place finish in Atlanta. After two great races to start the Hill had engine issues in Vegas causing him to finish 30th. Despite the engine issues last race, Hill is having a great start to his season and should continue to do see on Saturday.

Myatt Snider ($7,000)

Snider returns this weekend in the No. 27 ThorSport entry. In his only two Martinsville races Snider has finished 3rd and 6th with seven laps led. He finished 10th and 9th in both stages in the 2018 spring race here. Snider could be a surpise top 5 driver this weekend, or even win.

Korbin Forrester ($6,400)

Forrester has had two good showings in the past two Truck Series races averaging a 17.5 finish but has an average qualifying spot of 28, giving him a nice plus 11 point differential for the season. With this price he will allow you to add a top-tier driver and 2 mid tier drivers comfortably.

Other Options: Tyler Dippel ($6,900), Travis Kvapil ($5,300), Austin Theriault ($5,000)
