Tacko Fall has been making a name for himself this season, and many are curious as to just how tall the UCF big man is? Well, here’s the answer.

UCF’s Tacko Fall stands tall on-and-off the basketball court.

The 7-foot-6 big man, who hails from Senegal, began to make a name for himself in his senior season as a Knight. Averaging 10.9 points and 7.3 rebounds a game, Fall has been a force in the middle for the Knights, helping the team reach to pull off some incredible victories (beating Houston in their gym) and helping lead them to the NCAA Tournament.

With Fall attracting so much attention, many are now getting curious as to just how tall the Senegalese center truly is after seeing him standing next to CBS broadcaster Tracy Wolfson at the NCAA Tournament.

He is a mountain of a man, and he might be even taller by the time he’s measured at the NBA Scouting Combine.

He is easily the tallest player in college basketball and would have three inches on Boban Marijanovic, who is the tallest player in the NBA.

In all honesty, Fall has probably received more notoriety for his sheer height than his skills on the basketball court, which is a shame because he has clearly been a force for a Knights basketball program that is beginning to rise from the obscurity ashes, just like its football program.

His height is also attracting the attention of NBA execs, especially from teams who will be looking to get a big man who could be a legitimate presence in the paint. Can Fall be that guy? No one is quite sure. It would be perfect for the Washington Wizards to draft him considering they had the two tallest players in NBA history, Manute Bol and Gheorghe Muresan who were both listed at 7-foot-7

In a lot of ways, he’s still a bit raw, and if he does get drafted, Fall will, most likely, be seen as a long-term project than a player who can immediately help a team. That may be a blessing for Fall, as it will give him the opportunity to learn the NBA game rather than be thrown in the fire.

Until that time comes, however, enjoy Fall dominate opposing players in the NCAA Tournament.
