High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Joel Embiid (at ATL – $10,700): Needs 51.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 75 fantasy points against Boston. My only concern in this game is that the Hawks are too good of a matchup for the Sixers and the Sixers are able to spread the wealth a little bit, leading to a less than great game for Embiid. But he’s been playing excellent during March, going over 52 fantasy points in all five games. And we know the ceiling is there. Even in a blowout, he should produce. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Andre Drummond (at POR – $9,000): Needs 43.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.25 fantasy points against Phoenix. This feels like a bad game for Blake Griffin and a big game for Andre Drummond. He’s been playing well in recent contests although this will be his toughest matchup in a few games. He played very well against the Blazers last season, going over 50 fantasy points in both games. I expect him to get his points and rebounds in a big way in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (vs DAL – $7,300): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Indiana. It’s another member of the Warriors starting lineup because why wouldn’t you take members of the Warriors starting lineup with Curry out? There’s more ball to go around for the Warriors and most of their players remain at affordable levels. The Mavericks have no frontcourt and Cousins should be able to dominate them in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
