It appears as though Chicago will once again play host to All Elite Wrestling’s All In event.

After a successful first All In event last year, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will return to the Windy City this year for the second installment of the card. At the C2E2 Expo (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) event this weekend in Chicago, AEW revealed the news.

After a little back and forth comedic banter, AEW Executive Vice Presidents Matt and Nick Jackson were reminded by Kenny Omega that he hadn’t even stepped foot in Chicago since last year’s All In event. He then suggested maybe they come back for Comic-Con, which is a big event for the city, to which the fans started clamoring for them to return for All In again. Matt Jackson responded by saying, “let’s actually do what they’re saying.”

While they haven’t announced an exact date or venue for the event, Matt did mention the Sears Centre does have their images on a plaque outside the building. And the arena was also the host of the original event. So it would make sense that they return there.

All Elite Wrestling trademarked the term “AEW All Out” last year, and it resembles the All In logo. Now it appears this will be an annual event for the company, which is still in its rookie phase of existence.

The original All In event saw appearances from multiple pro wrestling companies, including Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla  and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Current WWE star Rey Mysterio also made a cameo appearance.

After the excitement of this announcement, AEW is now set to look ahead to Double or Nothing, which will take place May 25 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It will include a New Japan rematch that sees Kenny Omega facing Chris Jericho.
