High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at NO – $11,500): Needs 55.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 80.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. I thought Harden’s minutes were going to be monitored, and that Houston would try and take some pressure off of him but nope, he just continues to take all the shots. So until that stops, you may as well keep taking him. The matchup is great and if there’s no sign of the Rockets saying they’ll keep his minutes down, just assume he’ll have over 80 fantasy points. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Steph Curry (vs DET – $9,000): Needs 43.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Indiana. Curry rested against the Mavericks so he should be fresh with both teams on a back-to-back. And that’s bad news for the Pistons. You typically know what you’re getting out of Curry and it’s likely that the Warriors end up resting another one of their All-Stars, opening up more shots for Curry. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs DET – $7,200): Needs 34 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Again, by the time this gets posted, it’s possible the Warriors have rested another All-Star and if that’s Klay Thompson then all of this information becomes moot. But assuming he plays, just keep assuming he won’t miss a shot, especially against the Pistons. Don’t worry about the Mavericks game. The Warriors were flat. They won’t be flat again. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
