Can’t wait for more March Madness? Be sure to put the game times for the Sweet 16 matchups in your planner.

After a wild first weekend in the NCAA Tournament, we are down to the Sweet 16. Unlike last year, where a crazy Sunday blew up the brackets, the chalk pretty much held form in the field.

14 of the top 16 seeds in the field made it to the Sweet 16, with the only exceptions being Auburn and Oregon/UC Irvine. While this may not be the most thrilling outcome for purists, it does set us up for a ton of quality basketball games over the next four days.

The Sweet 16 will take place over two nights on Thursday and Friday, with the West and South regions tipping first on Thursday. The East and Midwest regions, headlined by the two ACC powers in Duke and North Carolina, tip-off in the prime Friday night slots on CBS and TBS.

Let’s start by laying out the times for Thursday’s action in Anaheim and Louisville.

West Region: 4) Florida State vs. 1) Gonzaga at 7:09 p.m. ET on CBS

South Region: 3) Purdue vs. 2) Tennessee at 7:29 p.m. ET on TBS

West Region: 3) Texas Tech vs. 2) Michigan approximately 30 minutes after Florida State-Gonzaga on CBS

South Region: 12) Oregon vs. 1) Virginia approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Purdue-Tennessee on TBS

Next up, let’s look at the start time for Friday’s action in Washington, D.C. and Kansas City.

East Region: 3) LSU vs. 2) Michigan State at 7:09 p.m. ET on CBS

Midwest Region: 5) Auburn vs. 1) North Carolina at 7:29 p.m. ET on TBS

East Region: 4) Virginia Tech vs. 1) Duke approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of LSU-Michigan State

Midwest Region: 3) Houston vs. 2) Kentucky approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Auburn-North Carolina

After these games play out the tournament will continue with Elite Eight matchups on Saturday and Sunday.
