Know what you’re talking about around the water cooler with best highlights of last night.
College basketball rules March and we’ve got everything you missed this weekend in the NCAA Tournament, from LSU’s whirlwind season pushing on to the Sweet 16 to the Hornets winning at the last second — twice.
10. Waters wins it for the Tigers
While LSU coach Will Wade remains exiled from the team based on allegations surrounding the FBI’s investigation into college basketball as well as the murder of Wayde Sims last September, the team is rallying.
Tremont Waters was the latest hero to put LSU over the top in a close battle against Maryland in Jacksonville on Saturday morning:

9. Ja Morant lights it up from outside
The presumptive No. 2 pick, after a sensational performance against No. 5 Marquette in the first round, showcased a less heralded part of his game in the Round of 32. Morant went 4-for-5 from 3 as Florida State consistently went under screens and gave him space to launch.
8. Jordan Murphy says goodbye to Gopher Nation
The Minnesota senior, who played every single game during his time at school, was sidelined Saturday against Michigan State with back soreness. It would have been a sad ending to Murphy’s prolific career for the school with all the team accomplished this year in the Big Ten. So coach Richard Pitino put Murphy back in the game with about two minutes to play so that he could get on the court with his teammates and for the fans one final time.

7. Trae Young ends the 76ers
He may have exited the NCAA Tournament in the first round last March, but Young is playing out of his mind with the season changing this year. Young added a game-winning floater to his 32-point, 11-assist night to take down a stacked Philadelphia roster.
6. Kemba Walker keeps the Hornets’ hopes alive
With Charlotte’s season on the line, Walker scored 18 points in the fourth quarter to win the game for his team. It was important for Charlotte as well as Walker individually. The performance came against Kyrie Irving, who is perhaps Walker’s biggest competition for an All-NBA selection and the opportunity to earn a super-maximum contract. Awards voters will surely have this in mind when they submit their selections in a couple weeks.

5. Sabrina Ionescu is on that Steph Curry stuff
In a 38-point beatdown of 15-seed Portland State, Ionescu was incredible. Her efficient 12 points and 8 assists helped get teammates going but it was not a boring performance. Any Oregon game could bring a filthy Ionescu shot like this one. The presumptive No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft (should she bypass her senior season) is must-watch television.

4. The Hornets strike again
If you are surprised to be seeing Charlotte again on this list… so are we. The Hornets apparently really want to make the playoffs. So badly, in fact, that they as a team willed this ball into the hoop off of Jeremy Lamb’s hands from halfcourt.
3. Zion 1, Tacko 0
Duke just barely prevailed over Tacko Fall, Aubrey Howard and the UCF Knights on Sunday evening thanks to Zion Williamson drawing the decisive foul on Fall with less than a minute to play. That left Fall on the bench for the final play of the game, when a loose ball was nearly tipped back in to send UCF to the Sweet 16.

2. Zion makes it look easy
As if the various dunks, blocks, steals and transition finishes weren’t enough for the highlight machine Williamson, he pulled out the passing in the second half Sunday for a sweet dime to Tre Jones that put Duke up 6 in the second half.

1. Robbi Ryan seals the deal for Arizona State
The Sun Devils secured their first trip to the Sweet 16 since 2015 with a steal and two free throws from Robbi Ryan, who finished the game with nine points and three steals.
