7. The Shield vs Big Show, Sheamus and Randy Orton (WrestleMania 29)

The importance of the WrestleMania 29 opening match was the first WrestleMania appearance for The Shield. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have each become relevant singles stars in the world of professional wrestling. However, they were still a strong unit in 2013 when teaming together to face off with the trio of popular singles stars Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show.

WWE tried forming various All-Star teams of former champions to oppose The Shield and make them look stronger in defeat. This was a great instance of it, with a fun opening match in New Jersey. The Shield won and looked great during their first performance on the WrestleMania stage. All three men looked like future stars and the interest from the fans for the popular faction added even more to the match. The Shield would only have two matches together total as a team at WrestleMania before splitting up.
